NOTICE!
I am looking to expand my portfolio. For couples and families I am offering my photo packages AT A DISCOUNT!
I urge you to reach out if you are interested!
THE PROCESS
-
After reviewing my portfolio below, please fill out the inquiry form at the bottom of this page so we can schedule a date and time to chat. When we meet, we can iron out all the details of your session including pricing, what is included in your session package, contracting, etc. Come ready with any questions or concerns you may have—I’m all ears!
-
Once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, we’re officially booked! In the meantime, I will keep in contact with you and provide any other additional information you may need. Of course, you can always reach out to me if you come across any questions. See you soon!
-
A week or so before your session, I offer an additional, optional phone call where we can do a final check-in with one another. If there’s anything that you’re nervous about or review, we can discuss it!
-
Don’t worry, I’ll take it from here—there’s nothing for you to do today except smile big and dress your best! I will assist you with posing and help you loosen up in front of the camera.
-
In 2-4 weeks you’ll receive a link to your photos in your e-mail. Enjoy!

FAQ
-
I am here to photograph whatever moments are memorable to you! Whether you just graduated, are proposing to your soul mate, starting a business, or even starting a family—I am available to help capture you at whatever exciting stage of life you are at!
-
This greatly depends on the duration, location, number of people, and type of session you book. You can fill out the inquiry form to the left to get a more exact price for your particular photoshoot. Sessions start at $150 for basic portraits and increase based on the aforementioned factors.
-
The number of deliverables depends on a variety of factors for your session. Shorter photoshoots with only one model will have closer to 20 photos, whereas longer sessions may have over 100. But one fun fact about me is that I’m a chronic overshooter, so I will most likely give you too many to choose form anyway.
-
Depending on how long your session was, you can generally expect your photos to be delivered within 2-4 weeks. I will provide you a more concrete timeline after we have our initial consultation and I have all the details about the session.
-
Fill out the inquiry form to the left to reach out to me for an initial consultation. Once we chat and go over the details of your session, I’ll send you the invoice and contract. A non-refundable retainer and a signature on the contract is required to officially book the session. Once both of those items are checked, we’re good to go!
-
Of course, things can happen that are outside of our control that force us to change plans. Every session has one free reschedule in cases of weather, illness, or emergency so long as you give me at least 48 hour’s notice. Multiple reschedule requests or requests submitted with less than 48 hour’s notice are subject to rescheduling fees or even cancellation of the session (depending on how last-minute the request was made).
Cancellations forfeit the non-refundable retainer.
If you are a no-call, no-show, you also will lose your retainer and session spot, and any future business conducted with you will require a 100% payment of services upfront.
-
Cameras and water don’t exactly mix, so I’m more than happy to reschedule the session in the event of inclement weather.
-
It’s okay to be nervous in front of cameras. Ironically, I’m pretty camera shy myself when I’m on the other side of the lens. But don’t worry, I’ll be there to provide posing assistance. I also recommend that clients look online and research some poses that they may feel comfortable with. This gives people a better sense of what to expect at the session.

In full honesty, wear whatever makes you feel the most comfortable and confident. The clothes aren’t the subject of the photos, it’s you! Also, what you’re wearing won’t matter if you’re standing stiff as a board in front of the camera because you’re uncomfortable in what you’re wearing. Plus, everyone has a unique style that reflects their personality, and I want that to shine through in your photos! Below are some pointers that can be used to enhance your session, but feel free to do what makes you feel the most confident!
Avoid clothes with large logos or brand imagery. You don’t want your photos to look like an advertisement for Nike—you want them to be about you!
Don’t forget to accessorize! If you have a favorite hat, scarf, or piece of jewelry, don’t forget to add that to your outfit as they are great complements to the overall look.
Try to factor the weather into your look. No one wants sweat stains in their photos, nor do you want to get frostbite during your session.
While everyone loves a pop of color, please keep in mind that fluorescent/neon colors will reflect onto your face/neck!
Patterns are an excellent way to take a visually interesting portrait, but I highly recommend not mixing patterns since this can be visually overstimulating.
For those who are scheduling a session where multiple people will be photographed:
Like I said before, patterns are great in moderation. Too many people wearing patterns can quickly overwhelm an image.
Another thing about patterns—try to keep them consistent across the photo. If someone is going to wear stripes, make sure someone’s not coming with polka dots.
While some families have identical outfits, variety can also make photos very interesting! Feel free to explore different outfits that are unique but still coordinate with the rest of the group.
-
Some things that may be useful on the day of your photoshoot:
Hairbrush
Hair gel/spray for flyaways
Safety pins
Hair ties/pins
Emergency sewing kit
Extra makeup
Chapstick
Deodorant
Also, don’t forget to put on lotion and sunscreen before the session!

Unfortunately, under no circumstances I do deliver RAW images to any of my non-commercial clients. I and many others in the visual arts industry do this to maintain a consistent brand image, style, and quality.
